The Highland Weavers
The Highland Weavers have been playing music and singing songs of Scotland and
Ireland for almost twenty-five
years. With close harmonies they perform a variety of familiar, traditional and contemporary songs from these Celtic
lands. The Highland Weavers are: Marie Whiteford (keyboard and vocals), Marty Morrissey (guitar, concertina,
bodhran and vocals) and Tim Whiteford (vocals and guitar).

Longford Row
Longford Row is a high energy Celtic
quartet. Their music is primarily traditional Irish. Longford Row
performs pub
songs, sea shanties, beautiful Irish airs and
instrumental tunes throughout Vermont and Northern New
England. Their
sound is dominated by a large vocal presence of
three and four part harmonies, thundering gang vocals, and high
energy rhythms. The band members are: Dan

Yandell- Cape Breton Fiddler
Duncan Yandell, a young Williston resident and a sensational fiddler, plays Celtic music from Cape Breton. David
Yandell accompanies Duncan on the piano.

The Green Mountain Celts
The Green Mountain Celts are Terry and Joanne Ranney. They play traditional music of Scotland performed on
Great Highland Bagpipes, Small Pipes and Frame Drums
with a touch of Celtic rebel.

Matthew Buckley
Local resident Matthew Buckley, a member of the outstanding Catamount
Highland pipe band will be playing the
Scottish small pipes. He has also been exploring the Scottish roots of American folk music using his claw-hammer style
banjo.

Dog
Runaway Dog is Don Dresser (bass), Bart Howe (lead guitar), Ed Paquin (rhythm guitar and vocals), Kym Asum

rock and roll music from the ‘50s up through the current top one hundred.

Filk covers

O’hAnleigh
This Middlebury trio has developed a unique sound drawing upon
their ancestral roots and diverse musical talent
to entertain audiences with
the lively and haunting rhythms of Irish and Irish American culture with a wide
variety of

Trinity
Trinity perform a sincere 100 song repertoire of the finest whisky drinkin,' pub folk songs, traditional
fiddle tunes, beautiful wedding music and Trinity
originals. The multi-instrumental duo supplement
their vocal talent with fiddle, guitar, banjo,
mandolin, whistles, bazouki and a liberal measure of good
natured heckling of unsuspecting punters.

Mandolinquents
The Mandolinquents serve up a spirited mix of
bluegrass, swing and jazz. An accomplished set of acoustic
musicians, the Mandolinquents will get your heart
rate up with a rapid fire fiddle tune, ease you down with a
swooning Irish ditty then leave you bubbly with a
toe tapping bebop number.

Flutastics
Flutastics is the combination of teacher and students. We come
together to perform chamber music, the highest
most challenging form of teamwork. Our
repertoire includes a Gaelic Offering by Catherine McMichael, and a
rendition of excerpts from the Nutcracker
for flute ensemble (including alto flute).

Jane Keir
Jane Keir, Vermont grown
singer-songwriter from Huntington,
has graced the local scene with
her guitar and socially conscious,
lyric-driven songs for just a few short years. With the world as her
muse,
Jane’s songs range from issues such
as third world poverty and the prison system, to love and kittens.

Duo Dolce
Duo
Dolce consists of Laura Markowitz on violin and John Dunlop on
cello, guitar and bouzouki. Laura and
John's music transports you through many
lands and centuries. In their classical mode, they play tunes
ranging
from renaissance to modern, Corelli to
Bartok, and a lot in between. In their Cltic mode, they play
Scottish and
Irish, spiced up with a few Swedish tunes.
Laura and John are members of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra,
the Burlington Chamber Orchestra, and play
with Symphony Reel, a trio which performs for children in schools
throughout Vermont. They also play in a
variety of chamber concerts as well as contra dances in Jericho where
they reside.
Laura and John teach violin and cello,
respectively, at a studio in Richmond.

The Fiddleheads
Fiddleheads is a
group of young people interested in learning and performing
traditional fiddle tunes. The tunes
they play highlight the Yankee, French,
Irish, Scottish and other cultures of Northern Vermont. They have
recorded
2 CDs as a group, and several members have
been part of other recording projects.

Mary Ann & Susan will play
hammered dulcimer and harp duets of Irish airs and dance tunes,
including some
beautiful melodies by the blind Irish
harper, Turlough O’Carolan. Full Circle (the quintet) will perform
songs and
tunes from Celtic lands on recorders (5
different sizes), guitar, percussion, harp and hammered dulcimer.

Red Wing Puppet Theater
The
Red Wing Puppet Theater’s show blends many different puppet styles
with live musical accompaniment and
physical comedy. This fast paced show is
enjoyable for all ages.
This year, Chuck Meese, the Artistic
Director
of The Red Wing Puppet Theater celebrates
his 30th year as a professional puppeteer. Joining Chuck
will be 12-
year-old puppeteer and musician Jan
Monteagudo-Meese.

Barefoot Fiddlers
The Barefoot Fiddlers are a group of young musicians from Richmond who have been sawing on the strings and
bringing the spirit of old American fiddle, bluegrass and Celtic music to Richmond for several years. They are joined
by a mandolin, guitar and Irish drum and are ready to kick up a heel and make sure that the “Circle” remains
“unbroken”as they kick off the New Year!

Vermont Youth DancersV

Vermont Youth Dancers is a newly formed dance troupe consisting of
10 home-schooled children ages 8-12 from
the Jericho-Underhill area. The girls in the troupe
who take classes at various local studios, have been
working together this fall to prepare a number of
classical ballet and lyrical dance pieces to present to local
audiences. This will be Vermont Youth Dancers first
public performance!
